Junior Squash Camp The Experience
10am - Introduction to the day and warm up games. This gives a chance to get to know the players and each other a little better in a fun environment before we get started with anything too technical.
Morning session 10am-1pm
10:30am - Getting stuck into the theme of the morning session with skills games and skill based challenges.
11am - Paired practices and conditioned games to develop squash technique in rhythm and getting into the groove of a squash rally with the twist of the morning’s theme.
11:45am - Camp game. A fun and active game to let off some steam after a concentrated period of focus on developing our technique.
12:30pm - Mini-tournament. This gives us an opportunity to put into practice what we have learnt in the morning session in a semi-competitive environment for those who want to gain some more match experience.
1pm - Lunch + lunchtime workshop/ games.
The lunch break presents a chance for us to get into more of the mental side of squash. After eating, there will be some reaction-time based games as well as a mental strategy workshop available to get involved with.
